About Tropicana Field
Domed stadium in St. Petersburg, Florida, opened in 1990 as the Florida Suncoast Dome and home of the Tampa Bay Rays since 1998. It is the only active MLB stadium with a fixed, non-retractable roof, and its four suspended catwalks are in play under special ground rules.
Reopened for the Rays' 2026 home opener on April 6 after $55.7 million in repairs, including a $22.5 million roof, following Hurricane Milton damage in October 2024.
